July 29th, come join an Appalachian Trail hike near Troutville, Virginia. This hike goes up a small hill to an open field at its crest. The view will surround you with Appalachian Mountain sights and a nice vantage of the Roanoke Valley. Deer can sometimes be seen while they forage. Great hike for beginners.
