GETTING HERE

Roanoke is a local hub for many transportation networks. It lies just off Interstate 81, which runs from Tennessee to Canada. Connect I-81 with I-64 north of Roanoke and I-77 south, also 460 east.  If you like to fly, the Roanoke Regional Airport provides excellent service daily and is located near Valley View Mall, lodging and other amenities.

Passenger bus service is provided by Greyhound to downtown Roanoke. Also located downtown is our Amtrak terminal. Added in 2017, Amtrak has become a heavily used transportation mode to get here, and a very scenic ride! Once here, the local Valley Metro bus can ferry you around to most places, and taxi service is great for finding specific spots. Ask us for help too!
